AWS Developer Associate FAQs
Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) is a vendor-neutral certification designed to demonstrate the competencies of IT professionals responsible for IT enterprise governance. The comprehensive certification can help such professionals level up to executive roles.
Apart from global accreditation, CGEIT allows organizations to ascertain IT governance skills at the time of hiring. It is an added advantage for candidates over non-certified professionals. As a highly remunerative certification, it is a must-have for most IT professionals.
There are no strict prerequisites for the course. However, five or more years of experience in managing and/or supporting the governance of enterprise IT is mandatory for the exam.
Candidates need to score at least 450 out of 800 to pass the exam. The exam has 150 multiple-choice questions to be answered in 4 hours.
The CGEIT certification is valid for three years. Holders of the certificate must adhere to ISACA’s Continuing Professional Education (CPE) guidelines to preserve their status as experts in IT governance.
The CGEIT exam fee must be paid directly to ISACA, which varies based on membership. Members have to pay an exam fee of $575, while non-members have to pay an exam fee of $760. You can contact the ZOC Tech team for the best price and discount offers on courses and training materials.
